#73 Progress Isn't Linear

I needed this reminder today… in case you needed it to- I’m passing it on.
Progress isn’t complete without the steps back.
I think we all fall into the trap of expecting progress to be linear- that tomorrow will be further ahead than today.
The truth is progress involves the steps back- it’s in those steps we find the holes that will allow us to take the next step forward.
Do I need reminders about this on a regular basis? 100% (hence this email to you).
The key is to keep trying. Keep learning. And be nice… to yourself- you’re a work in progress. And progress isn’t linear.
