#35 Cultivating Joy: Part 1 of a Conversation with Kristi Smith

I met Kristi in 2006 when I took my first course at the Parelli Campus in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She struck me as a determined, direct person who cared deeply about horses and people. Through the years, she's helped me organize my thoughts along the bumps and twists of my career as a Parelli Instructor.

It was a pleasure to catch up with her in this interview. This is part 1 of our conversation. You'll get to learn a bit about how Kristi's tumultuous childhood influenced her horsemanship development and how our emotions have frequencies that horses and other animals can feel. She shares how practicing joy has transformed her horsemanship.
